Ambient Recording was founded in 1989 in Germany by two sound recordists, Chris Price and Gunter Knon. Originally a sound equipment rental and sound transfer facility, Ambient has evolved into two distinct parts: sales and rental, and Ambient-designed and manufactured products. Ambient currently manufacturers some of the most innovative timecode products available for film and video professionals, as well as boom poles and recording accessories for the production sound crew.
